PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL MEET INFORMATION!
Meet Details for Saturday 7/11 at Stonegate
- Heat Sheets are attached to the bottom of this email. Please print out your own copy or you can upgrade to Swimtopia Pro app ($) to get live meet updates (~5 min delay).
Stonegate Pool Address: 10326 Stonegate Pkwy, Parker, CO 80134
- Parking for the swim meet is available on both sides of the streets of Stonegate Parkway, Keystone Boulevard, and Quarry Hill Drive, which surround the pool and Stonegate Village Park. Overflow parking is available at Pine Grove Elementary School, one block south of the pool. There are parking lots on both the northeast and south sides of the school building. Please be considerate of our Stonegate neighbors and do not block any driveways. There is ample parking around the pool, park, and in the school parking lots. Please DO NOT park in any of the small cul-de-sac streets off Quarry Hill Drive, as you’ll likely be blocking a driveway. ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES WILL BE TICKETED AND POSSIBLY TOWED. There will be an unloading area on the west side of the Stonegate Village Park off of Stonegate Parkway where tents and other items can be unloaded. Please be respectful of this area and others. This is an unloading area - NO PARKING.
Wahoos Tent Location:
- We will be set up your tents on the green space on the EAST side of the pool.
- Personal Tents: NO TENTS/CANOPIES MAY BE SET UP ON THE POOL DECK OR IN THE INSIDE OF THE POOL FENCE. Teams may set up their tents in the designated areas of Stonegate Village Park, which is located to the north and northeast of the pool (See Map Below). Tents may be dropped off in the unloading area along Stonegate Parkway. NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARK! Trash cans will be set up throughout the team tent area. Please clean up your tent area after the swim meet.
- Volunteers need to check in with Lani or Brea for all of the details for your shift when you arrive.
- Swimmers are REQUIRED to check in to the tent by 6:15am - ready to stretch by 6:20am - our pool warmup time is 6:30-6:50am in lanes 3 & 4 of the championship pool.
- URGENT: If you are a 6U and NOT warming up or are not able to attend, please let us know immediately via text to all three of the following 303-908-6732 / 303-931-0757 / (720) 520-0598
- Concessions will be available for sale and they have let us know that it is cash or venmo for tickets! Kona Ice will also be there and accepts cash or card.
- HEATING:The heating area is on the east side of the pool and can only be accessed from the Stonegate Village Park outside the pool area. ONLY heating swimmers, coaches, working volunteers, and Parent Reps will be allowed in the heating area. All others, including non-heating swimmers and parents, will not be allowed in the heating area.

- 6:15am - Swimmers Report to Coach Kate
- 6:30-6:50am – WC2 swimmers warm up Lane 3 & 4
- 7:00 am – Scratch Meeting in the heating area
- 7:15 am – Coaches Meeting with Starter/Referee and RMSL Reps in the Heating Area
- 7:25 am – Stroke Judges Meeting for ALL SHIFTS by Starter’s tent
- 7:40 am – Timers Meeting for ALL SHIFTS by Starter’s tent
- 7:50 am – Shift 1 Volunteers report to the Announcer’s tent / Final warm-up session ends (clear pool)
- 7:50 am - Relay Events #1 & #2 swimmers in positions
- 7:55 am – National Anthem
- 8:00 am – Start of RMSL FINALS
- 9:35 am – Shift 2 Volunteers report to the Announcer’s tent
- 11:20 am – Shift 3 Volunteers report to the Announcer’s tent 1:05 pm – Shift 4 Volunteers report to the Announcer’s tent
Meet Tips
- Pack the night before. Couple of towels, goggles, cap, sunscreen, sleeping bag/blanket and books and/or entertainment
- Wear suit to meet
- In sharpie on forearm write: EVENT-HEAT-LANE- for each of your child’s races (this can also be done at the meet with the help of a coach/jr. coach) 1. example: “25-2-4” this would represent that my swimmer was in event 25 of the second heat for that event and swimming in lane 4
- Dress for daily weather progression- may want a hat v. Bring snacks and fluids or be prepared to buy concessions (have cash just in case)
- Get to the pool in time to warm up. Warm up is optional for 6U however arrive 30 min before meet or you may be replaced on a relay
- Check races before the meet starts. Younger kids will get help making it to heating for their events/heating but 11 and up need to be responsible to watch the heat signs and get to their events on time themselves

- These are KIDS
- This is a RECREATIONAL LEAGUE
- Officials are parent VOLUNTEERS
- Meets are run by parent VOLUNTEERS
- This is NOT the OLYMPICS
You are expected to treat EVERYONE with RESPECT and common courtesy
Failure to abide by the parent code of conduct will result in Team and League disciplinary actions.
