Hello Wahoos Families,

Hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day Weekend! Week three is here, and morning practices are officially tomorrow! We’re excited to see our swimmers show up early, ready to work hard and support each other. There’s a great sense of teamwork and determination building as we head into our first meet this Saturday. We can’t wait to see everyone put their hard work into action—let’s go, team!

SATURDAY MEET DECLARATIONS

  • Saturday, May 30 - HOME MEET vs. Ben Franklin
    • All swimmer declarations (chosen races) against Ben Franklin are due online by Tuesday night at midnight!
    • Sign up your swimmer HERE
    • Volunteer Slots are also OPEN and will close Thursday night.
  • All other MEETS:
    • Meet event sign-ups and volunteer sign-ups open!
      • New this year, you will be able to sign up for ALL meets early. All declarations are due the Tuesday before the meet by midnight. You will be able to make changes up to this time.
      • Volunteer slots will also be open at this time, so make sure to get your favorite position secured early!

STROKE CLINICS

  • All stroke clinics are open to RSVP and pay
  • These are limited/small group clinics that focus on a single stroke as well as the starts and turns for that specific stroke!
  • 10&Up Days and 9&Under Specific Days
  • Limited to 12 swimmers per clinic

COMMUNICATIONS

VOLUNTEERS - We’re still looking for parents to help with these events

    • Waterworld – June 11 (ages 13+)
    • Tennis Court Sleepover – June 20 (ages 11+)
    • Prelims parties – July 6–9 (day varies by age group)
      • Host a pasta/protein “prelims party” for your age group.

NOTES & REMINDERS - Full Season Schedule

  • June 13 (home vs Heritage Green) is a “sprint meet.” This pilot format includes more 25/50s, fewer longer races, combined heats, and a shorter meet. More information to come!

PRIVATE LESSONS

  • Interested in one-on-one private lessons for your kids? Contact any one of our five coaches to arrange lessons based on your needs and availability! Private lessons will begin on Tuesday, May 26th and can run through August depending on what you arrange with your coach. The team rate for this season will be $30 per half hour.
